She has the most nasal "muffin" in the world. I never want to forget how she said it...and how excited she'd get in anticipation.

SPARKLERS

I thought I was buying real sparklers, but these were totally lame. Thus the video is totally lame too.

At least Charlotte giggled a little...once Daddy could finally get the dumb things lit.

And the "pops" were only mildly interesting. All in all, kinda a dud for 4th of July. Next year should be better.

The difference between mommies and daddies is that I never would've thought to pelt our child in the face with a ball. And therefore I would've missed out on how strangely much she loves it.

Today I started thinking about next week, which made me fondly remember how this little, blurry, blinking blob became my daughter.
