I don't take as many videos anymore, because I always miss the great things to videotape and the times where I'm waiting for a good reaction...it never comes.  So this is the only video of her opening a Christmas gift.  It's meh.

READING TARZAN

She basically has this book memorized, but now she's doing a blend of reading from memory.  She knows where she is on the page now and is reading as she's reciting.  Pretty cool.

DANCIN' WITH MYSELF

At her school Halloween party, she just stood on the sidewalk and danced alone for quite a long time.  She didn't know I was recording her.  She just chowed down on her popcorn and did her own thing.  What a cool personality trait, to be so self-confident.

THE VET AND THE BIG CAT

She's doing pretty good with sounding out.  This is the final book in the first Bob Books set.

MIGHTIEST COWGIRL

She has started narrating everything she does with this sportscaster voice...

KNOCK KNOCK JOKES

She actually (kinda) gets knock-knock jokes now...and thinks they're all uproariously funny.

BLACK HOLES

She has a book called Journey Into a Black Hole that we both like reading.  Just a little 8 AM science chat.

BOB BOOKS

We got her some Bob Books (a learn-to-read series) for her birthday.  This was her very first time reading one:

She is doing great with sounding words out!

SUPER READERS

She's never been a very interactive TV watcher, but she's getting into the show "Super Why" lately, and I love that she does this little fist pump dance with the team at the end of every episode.
